Description
The New York palace was built between 1891 and 1895 for an American insurance company. In the early 20C, the café was a favourite meeting point for many journalists, writers and poets, such as those working on the literary review Nyugat (“West”). The palace has now reopened as a luxury hotel and includes a completely restored café.
