Name: Clark Ádám tér
Category: Architecture, castles and historic districts
Location: 1013 Budapest, Clark Ádám tér.
Description
A roundabout frequented by thousands of vehicles which come out of or are swallowed by the tunnel crossing the hillside of the castle and which leads to the quarter of Krisztinaváros. It was to Adam Clark, an English engineer who managed the construction of the bridge of the Chains, that the people of Budapest also owe this work of art. On the left before a bush, you will notice the sculpture marking the kilometre point 0, whence the road distances are calculated away from the capital.
