Description
This castle was built for Count Miklós Zichy and his wife, the Lords of Óbuda in the 18th Century In the courtyard (concerts in the Summer), admire its beautiful façade and its stairwell. On the 1st floor, the Lajos Kassák museum devoted to this man (1887-1967), a writer, painter and one of the leaders of the Hungarian avant-garde. On the corner of Hajógyár Street and Laktanya Street, you may be surprised by four women, each protected by an umbrella: Imre Varga sculpted this group in bronze.
