Description
In Deák ter metro station, take a tour around this small museum. An old station with its ticket-puncher will greet you. Along the platform you can follow, with the aid of some explanatory signs and old photographs, the construction of the first line in Europe inaugurated on 2nd May 1896. Three small yellow carriages from this line are on the platform. You will also see three carriages from different eras (1896, 1973), one of which was made in Hungary.
