Description
A 15th century merchant’s house which was turned into the Arany Sas pharmacy (the Golden Eagle’s) in the middle of the 18th century. This small museum exhibits pharmaceutical objects, pots and instruments from the 16th to 19th century and an 18th century apothecary has been reconstructed, together with a laboratory that is more like an alchemist’s den. A little further on, wander down the Balta köz on the right-hand side, the Axe passageway, a death trap in the Middle Ages.
